Frequently Asked Questions

Are your courses nationally recognised?

Yes. All our courses are NZQA-recognised and meet New Zealand's current health and safety and industry compliance standards.

Do I need any experience before enrolling?

No prior experience is required for most entry-level courses. Our trainers guide you through both theory and hands-on learning to help you gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed.

How long do the courses take?

Course durations vary depending on the licence type. Most high-risk courses run between 6 to 8 hours. Custom training schedules are also available for workplaces.

What do I need to bring to my course?

You'll need photo ID, closed-in footwear, and appropriate worksite clothing (e.g., high-vis and steel-toe boots). National Student Number (NSN). All training materials and equipment are provided unless otherwise stated.

Can training be done on our worksite?

Yes. We can deliver training on-site at your workplace, provided you have the required equipment and a safe, compliant training area.

Will I get a certificate after completing the course?

Yes. Upon successful completion, you'll receive a certificate of competency or licence endorsement, depending on the course.

How often do I need to renew my licence?

Most high-risk licences need to be renewed every 3 years to stay current with NZQA and WorkSafe requirements. We'll remind you when it's time for renewal.

What happens if I don't pass the course the first time?

We're here to help you succeed. If you don't meet the requirements initially, our trainers will work with you to arrange a re-assessment or additional training support.

How do I book or get a quote?

You can book directly via phone or email for group bookings, quotes, or customised training plans.
